Cat Osterman Experience Park Rules

Players, coaches and spectators must abide by the following COE rules while attending the “Cat Osterman Experience” tournament. Violations may result in suspension of play and/or expulsion from the tournament.

  1. Coaches must know where their players are at all times, and provide appropriate supervision. No player is allowed to leave the property of the village or cross the village boundaries without a valid sign-out form. Violation of this rule will result in the expulsion of an individual player and possibly the disqualification of a team.
  2. Vehicles may be driven into the village area only during the registration period from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday. Please park in the designated parking areas.
  3. Coaches, assistant coaches and team counselors are responsible for the safety of players. Players leaving the COE must sign in/out with his/her Coach/Assistant Coach and a COE security worker. Any authorized guardian removing a player (including his/her own child) from the village must complete a Sign-out form (Forms are available at all security booths).
  4. No skateboards, rollerblades, scooters or other form of wheeled personal transportation are allowed at the Cat Osterman Experience.
  5. No pets are allowed at the Cat Osterman Experience.
  6. No climbing on fences, buildings, statues, dugouts, light poles, etc.
  7. No throwing of any objects other than softballs or wiffleballs.
  8. No practicing or ball playing on the game fields until official game time.
  9. No ball playing in the Champions Village.
  10. Do not enter restricted or COE employee only areas.
  11. No fighting is allowed, all participants will be immediately removed permanently from the COE.
  12. Any coach ejected from a game will be immediately removed permanently from the COE.
  13. No roughhousing of any kind is permitted. Do not jump on bunk-beds or footlockers.
  14. No bare feet at any time. A bathing suit and flip-flops are required in the common shower area.
  15. The COE is an alcohol free and smoke free complex, any coach/parent using alcohol or smoking on the premises will be permanently removed.
  16. Teams are responsible for keeping their team clubhouse clean (sweep floors, empty trash, make beds, etc). Clubhouses are inspected daily. Brooms, dustpans, etc are to remain in the clubhouses. Do not take these items when you leave.
  17. No profanity. Serious violation may result in suspension/permanent expulsion.
  18. No washing uniforms in the restrooms or bathhouses.
  19. The COE is a drug free zone. Violation of this rule will result in local law enforcement involvement and removal from the COE.
  20. Outside coolers, food, or beverages of any kind are not permitted in the Cat Osterman Experience in accordance with the Nebraska Department of Health.
  21. Teams, individuals, spectators and umpires will be held responsible for damage to the COE facilities and surrounding private property if they were involved in any unapproved activities that resulted in the damage.
  22. Game balls will be provided by the COE. All foul balls must be returned to the umpire.
  23. In the event of severe weather, teams will be directed to return to their Champions Village clubhouses and parents/spectators will be asked to return to their vehicles until further notification.
  24. Please bring all “lost and found” items to the tournament headquarters (the red barn). The COE is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please do not bring valuables personal items to the village.
  25. No recreational vehicles are permitted to park overnight on the Cat Osterman Experience property.
  26. The COE is not responsible for damage or theft to vehicles parked on the property. Please keep personal items locked up at all times.
  27. Coaches, spectators and players must use common sense at all times. The COE reserves the right to suspend play of any team or individual and/or remove them from the property if their conduct or language is not in harmony with the wholesome and positive nature of competitive youth sports.
  28. Coaches, umpires, players, families and spectators assume all risk and danger of personal injury, losses, damages to person or property and all hazards arising from or related in any way to games, activities and events at the COE. The Cat Osterman Experience reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the rules of this document.

Cat Osterman Experience Tournament Rules

The Cat Osterman Experience adheres to all USSSA published rules and guidelines. Upon registration and acceptance into the Cat Osterman Experience Tournaments, a copy of the rules and regulations will be included in your coach's packet.
